Saundra Jo Whitt

WHITT, SAUNDRA JO (Ison), age 75 of Fairborn, Ohio passed away on Tuesday August 29, 2023 after a brief illness at the Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. Sandy was the heart of her family as the oldest of ten children. She was born on January 18, 1948 in Weisburg, Indiana to James Reed and Joyce Elizabeth (Fassold) Ison who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by a brother, James Ricky Ison, 2 sisters, Pamela Ann (Ison) Keeton and Jolene Kay (Ison) Adkins, and her nephew Scott David Keeton. She leaves to cherish her memory 6 siblings, Jackie (Ison) Newsome, Elaine (Ison) Davis, Steve Ison, Randall Ison, Patty (Ison) Johnson and Jerry Ison. She also raised three step-sons, Jackie Whitt, Cheyenne Whitt and Ronnie Whitt. Her 2 great granddaughters, Joey and Stella Lemaster, were the light of her life, along with their mother Nikki. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who were her pride and joy. Sandy recently retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base where he worked at the Base Lodging Office as a front desk clerk. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 2, 2023 from 10am to 11am at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 11am with Rev. Michael Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio.
