Sondra Kay Hollon

HOLLON, SONDRA KAY (SANDY), age 81 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 25, 2025 at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek after complications from an illness. She was born on July 1, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Cline and Thelma (Liles) Hill. Sandy graduated from Fairborn High School in 1961.

In addition to raising her children, she worked various jobs, including spending many years employed through Miamisburg City Schools as a cafeteria employee. Upon her retirement, she also worked part-time for the Greene County Area Agency on Aging, helping to deliver meals and provide transportation and help to elderly citizens. In recent years, Sandy enjoyed staying active and spending many days in the pool at the Fairborn YMCA where she had many dear friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, spending time with friends and family and was a talented crocheter. Sandy was known for her bubbly personality and was a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her son, Craig Eisele of Fairborn, Oh and Donnie (Tracy) Eisele of West Carrollton, Oh, grandson Lucas Eisele of West Carrollton, and a brother, Danny K. (Jewel) Hill of Hendersonville, TN, and many extended relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Herman Hollon and by her parents.

Per her wishes, after cremation, Sandy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Herman, in a private graveside service at Reynolds Cemetery, Wolfe County, Kentucky at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sandy’s long-time dear friends, Kathy K, Violet, Linda, Barb and Teresa. Also thanks to the staff at the Fairborn YMCA for your unwavering love, support and friendship. In addition, we would also like to thank the physicians, nurses and staff at Soin Medical Center, both inpatient and outpatient, who provided excellent care to Sandy at various times over the past year.
