With sincere sympathy and love to Doug's family and friends I pray that you will be comforted in your time of loss. It seems like so many years ago that the Mighty Mighty Park Hills Viking Marching Band gathered on the field but when I close my eyes it just seems like yesterday that Doug was smiling and putting forth his all leading us in our life's music.

I still remember Doug's smile, his laugh and the way his eyes filled with happiness. His star was so very bright those many years ago. He loved music, beautiful women and performing in front of an audience. He truly brought great joy to others when he shared his remarkable talents. My thoughts are with all those he loved both family and friends.

To the members of the Starcher family. I am a former classmate of Doug's; we were connected through the Marching Vikings. I knew Doug as a funny, charming, talented musician and drum major. His smile and laugh will forever be in my heart and memories.
With heartfelt condolences,
