Thelma Jean Pross

She moved to Dayton early in her life and went on to have a family which consisted of four loving daughters and one son. She worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where she worked for over twenty years before retiring.

She enjoyed working in her garden, loved her dogs (Sophie , Sandy and Dusty). Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family of whom she adored.

Aside from her loving parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Pross; two daughters, Wanda Blankenship and Phyllis Shreffler.

She is survived by three children; Ronnie Walters (Shirley) Patty Mercer and Michelle Wood; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and close friends.

Graveside service will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 1:00PM. A visitation for Thelma will take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12NOON at Burcham – Tobias Funeral Home ( 119 E. Main Street, Fairborn OH).
