RITCHEY, CHARLES M. "MAGE," 90, of Fairdale, KY, left life to be with his wife of 57 years, Marcella "Tootie" on Saturday, May 5, 2012. He was retired after 42 years from Eaton Corporation (formerly Shuler Axle Co) He was a World War II Army veteran, an avid bowler and loved to metal detect with his sons. During his long life, he also enjoyed softball, baseball, hunting, fishing and golf.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Joe, James, Paul and Edward; and sisters, Hazel and Mary Magdeline.
He is survived by his children, Charles D., Keith A. (Kay) and Vicky Duncan (William); sister, Louise Gibson, of Oregon; brothers-in-law, James B. Vaughn (Jackie) and Earl Taylor; grandchildren, Scott Ritchey (Rachel), Tiffany Johnstone (Chris), Billy Duncan (Shannon), Amy Cox (Dawson), Ronald Mollohan, Angela Mollohan and Zackery Cox; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and more.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday.
