THOMPSON, DENNIS P. SR., 64, passed away April 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Carolyn Gribbins-Smith and Thomas "Sonny" Thompson Sr. and siblings Michael and Damon Gribbins. Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving sons Denny Paul Thompson Jr. and Patrick Richard Thompson and siblings David Thompson, Thomas Thompson Jr., Rita Thompson-Jackson, Linda Thompson-Elvey, Allen Thompson-Brown, Teresa McGown-Jones, Deborah Gribbins-Purvis, Clayton Gribbins and Karen Smith-Gonzales. A service honoring the life of Dennis will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Road. Visitation will begin Saturday at 11a.m. until the start of the funeral.
