Gerald Gene Braden, 84, entered into rest on Friday March 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lorenza and Anna (Aull) Braden; Son, Kenny Braden; Brothers, Norman, Phillip, David, Charles; Sisters, Glenna, Mary, Janet; Gerald was a Retired Truck Driver after 40 years and worked at the Crossroads Campground in Elizabethtown. He loved playing golf with his buddies on Thursday, especially with his best friend, George. He is survived by his Son, Steve Braden (Tammy); Daughter, Lisa Braden; Sisters, Carol Ann Nichols and Donna Braden; Special Friend, Angela Adams; Step Children, Gary Catlett, Tonya Vessels, Shelly Mattingly, and Christy Catlett; and Several Nieces and Nephews and Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 20, 2025 at 12noon at the Fairdale – McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Burial Following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is on Wednesday from 2 – 8pm at the funeral home.
