Harold W. James

He was retired from Ford Motor Company, former member & past deacon of First Baptist Church of Fairdale, had been active & past president of the Fairdale Community Club, avid camper and belonged to the NCHA camping organization, was in the Rolling WigWams Club & wrote the state newspaper for the organization. He was also past president of the KY Colonels and present member of Gamaliel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Viola Mullins of 47 years & Geneva Stinson of 25 years, sisters Lucille James, Margaret Zander & Lois Zimbrich.

Survived by his daughter, Beverly Gathof (Maurice), granddaughter, Sheila Mills (Paul), great granddaughter Heather Mills( her fiance Chad W. Franklin & his daughter, Cami), step children, Donald Stinson (Regina), Gary Stinson (Kathy) & DianeMiles (Steven) and their families, many nieces & nephews and a host of good friends.

Family would like to give a special thanks to Metcalfe County Healthcare Center for their kind & caring way.

Funeral service will be Monday 11:30 AM at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Sunday and after 9 AM Monday until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church or Gamaliel Methodist Church.
