Harold W. Swift “Angel” 69, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, November 24, 2016. He was a retired Teamsters Local 89, Navy Veteran, NASCAR fan and enjoyed all racing even when he was behind the wheel. He enjoyed boating, camping & his Harley. Harold was a UL fan and also member of First Baptist Church of Fairdale.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wavie Swift, his mother & step father; Addie Mae & S.J. Powell, brother, William Swift & sister Joyce Ann Gerkins.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Brenda, daughter, Tracy Ritter (Ron), sons, Christopher Willis & Harold W. Swift, Jr., grandchildren, Anissa Anglin, J.T. & Colton Hill & Mackenzie Willis, sister, Diana Hammer (Terry), brother, Ernest Powell (Martha) and also several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be 1PM Monday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Services 411 Fairdale Rd. with burial to follow. Visitation will be 2-8PM Sunday and after 9AM Monday until time of service.
