Helen D. Riggle
June 12, 2021
Helen was a fixture in my life from a young age, as a student at St. Jerome, church activities, Fairdale Fire Department, and as I grew older her grandchildren were involved in youth ministry as she was involved with Spirited Sages and the funeral meal following the death of both of my parents. I had nothing but great respect and love for Helen and know she is now reunited with Al & Charlie. To the Riggle family know that I am sharing your loss and praying for peace for you all.

All these photos brought back so many memories. Scrabble games with Mamaw. Mamaw and Papaws old living room filled with so much family it was standing room only. Picking "flowers" for Mamaw, then her teaching me which ones were flowers and which ones were weeds that would make my hands itchy the rest of the day. All the homeade jams and jelly options for breakfast with her. Picking vegetables with her in the garden and her famous Christmas cookie box, especially those rocky roads. Our prayers and love go to all of you. We miss you all and wish we were able to be there this weekend.

When Charles was in my 5th grade class at St. Jerome School, Helen was extremely kind and supportive. Like most parents she wanted the best for her son.
I’m sending my sympathy and prayers to the family.
