In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Craig Cooper.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Bonnie (James E.) Blevins; a niece, Linda (Marty) Manning; a nephew, James R. (Tammy) Blevins; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and many friends who will all miss her dearly.
The family will accept guests for visiting from 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). A service to celebrate her life will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00 pm with burial to follow in Mount Holly Cemetery in Fairdale.
