He was a retired machinist and an avid University of Louisville fan. John was one of the kindest and the purest at heart people you could ever know.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, parents; Leonard & Georgia Roberts and his brother, Larry Roberts.
Survivors include his sisters, Sara Damron (Rob), Patty Greep (Bob), Karen Hargrove (Joe) and Ellen Dear (Peter), his brothers, George & Joe Roberts, his partner. Lisa Smith, his furry babies, 3 nieces & 2 nephews and also Avery who was like a granddaughter.
Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday and a memorial service at 11am Saturday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
