John Christopher Shofner, 62, entered into rest on Wednesday March 11, 2026. John was a member of Campell’s Chapel United Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Alvin and Marie (Jaggers) Shofner; Brother, Bruce Shofner and Sister, Sherry Shofner; He is survived by his Sister, Shelia Kircher; Nieces, Crystal Gross (Eric) and Jamie Shofner; Nephews, Kenneth Weedman (Misty), Brian Madison, Jason Weedman, Josh Shofner; and several great nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 12noon at the Fairdale – McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with Burial following in Cove Hollow Cemetery, Mammoth Cave, Ky. His visitation will be on Tuesday March 17, 2026 from 4-8pm and after 10am on Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home.
