Judy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She found peace in working outdoors, tending to her beautiful garden and caring for her yard. She was also a talented seamstress, beautician, and an avid reader.
Judith was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel "Sam" Mitchell Jr.; her parents, William Zoeller Sr. and Mary Davidson Zoeller; and her siblings, Tommy Zoeller, Kenneth "Kenny" Zoeller, Mary Kay Parker, John Zoeller, Richard "Ricky" Zoeller, and Brother-in-law Bob Meredith.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cheryl Thomas (Kenny); her grandchildren, Brian Thomas (Priscilla) and Samantha Thomas; and her siblings, Joyce Meredith, William "Billy" Zoeller, and Darlene Riggs (Dorsey).
A private service will be held at the graveside for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Judy's name to the UofL Heart Hospital.
