Judy was born to Harold and Novella Devasher. A graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School, she would go on to work and later retire from JCPS as a special education assistant.
A mom to many, everyone that knew her drew inspiration, encouragement, love, and the motivation to fight through adversity, and be better every day.
She was known for her feistiness, fearlessness and a never ending love for animals that once even had her volunteering at a wild animal sanctuary with tigers and other big cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her daughters Melissa Smith (Jason,) and Kim Nalley (Steve,) and her grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Peyton and Adrienne Nalley.
The family extends their deepest appreciation for Dr. Robert Johnson, Monica, and his staff for the excellent care provided over the years. We would also like to express gratitude for the wonderful care provided by the outstanding Norton Audubon Emergency and ICU team.
Momma/Nana, we will forever love you, from the sewer pipes, to the sky!
Celebration of life at a later date.
Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Fairdale has been entrusted to handle the arrangements for the Lewis Family.
