On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, Linn Vernon Paulley, 66, went home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and the love of so many family and friends.
Linn was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Irene Parker and Sonny Paulley, and his brothers, Duke, Troy, and Dwayne Paulley.
Linn had a big heart and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the simple things in life—singing his favorite songs, playing bingo, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and watching WWE. His laughter, sense of humor, and love for spending time with those he cared about will be deeply missed.
The greatest joy of Linn's life was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Patricia "Patti" Paulley, whose love and unwavering support were the foundation of their life together. He also leaves behind his children, Tyce Meredith (David), Angie Hoyer (Bill), Robert Eddleman (Amy), Stuart Cook, Brooke Sutherland (Tony), and Courtney Klein (Ben), along with 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories, stories, and love he shared with them.
He is also survived by his brothers, Joe (Christy) and Mark Paulley, and sister Charlotte Busam as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Linn's legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the countless lives he touched.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Fairdale, 411 Fairdale Road. Cremation will follow the service.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
