Lonnie Minyard 78, of Fairdale, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family. He was a retired shipping clerk for Lear Seating and was a retired LCpl with the Marines. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years, Bonnie, mother, Dorothy Madden, father Raymond Miniard & Pot Madden & his sister, Nan Longacre. He is survived by his daughter, Angie Minyard Ables, son, Tony Minyard, grandson, Brandon Ables (Kristina), great grandson, Jax Ables, sisters, Irene Harris & Mabel Allen, his beloved cat Moonshine and a host of cousins who were more like brothers & sisters to him. Special thanks to the OHU & ICU Units of Audubon Hospital for all their care & compassion.
Funeral service will be Noon Saturday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Eugene Harris officiating. Burial in Mt. Holly Cemetery Visiting will be 1-8PMFriday.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
