Malcolm Wayne Reyer, 75, of Louisville, passed away on September 26, 2021. He was born in Ardmore, Alabama on December 27, 1945 to the late Ernest and Lucille Reyer. Malcolm proudly served in the United States Army. After his service, he worked at Louisville Stoneware for 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He was a man of deep faith and an avid University of Alabama football fan.
In addition to his parents, Malcolm is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Pamela Reyer and his siblings, Euguene Reyer, Marvin Reyer, Helen Faulkner and Charles Reyer.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stan (Cindy) Reyer, Tom Reyer and Richard Reyer; grandchildren, Heather Clemons, Stanley Reyer Jr., Danny Reyer and Isabella Reyer; a great-grandson, Malcolm Glenn Reyer; a sister, Geraldine Prater; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will accept guests for visiting from 3:00-8:00 on Friday, October 1, 2021 and from 10:00-11:30 am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). A service to celebrate Malcolm’s life will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
