Michael David "Mike" Bond, 62, of Fairdale, passed away July 18, 2012. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and will always be remembered for his love of Harley Davidson motorcycles and eagles. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth "Tootie" Bond; grandmother, Pearl Grant; and his beloved dog, Sassie. Survivors include his daughter, Allison Bond; grandson, Zain Shalash; sister, Marcia St. Cyr(Rich); and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10am Saturday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday. Memorial donations can be made to KY Humane Society.
