Rebecca "Becky" Dorton

She was born in Louisville, KY on July 10, 1972 and resided in Fairdale, KY. She was a graduate of Fairdale High School and received her college degree at Tri-City Barber College. Becky was the talented owner of Mother Daughter Designs, partner of Dorton Construction, manager at The Shack in the Back BBQ, and previously employed as a Barber at Lions Den II Barber Shop.

She is survived by her husband, Mick Dorton; mother, Brenda Risinger; her amazing three kids that she was so proud of, Michael Dorton (Samantha), Courtney Dorton (Tyler), Matthew Dorton (Haley); sisters, Amanda Padgett (Vince), Jessica Risinger (Derek); brother, Timmy Risinger; nieces, Kirsten, Maya, Malia; nephew, Lance; lifelong friend, Renee; and her fur babies, Penelope, Wrangler, and Cherokee.

She was loved by so many family members and friends. Becky was one of a kind, and will be deeply missed by so many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 12-8pm at Fairdale McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Fairdale, KY. Service will be on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 12pm with visitation starting at 10am until time of service. Burial is at Risinger Cemetery following service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family during this time.
