I never really knew Rick but I saw him pretty much every week for the last 30 years when I went to Kroger-Plainview. We’d always say hello to one another. It’s weird how someone is always there and you expect them to always be there. I hope Rick’s family and friends can find peace. Gone too soon.

Uncle Rick was what us kids called our fun uncle, either skipping rocks, "accidentally" falling in the creek and ruining our Sunday dresses. To getting sprayed off with a water hose, and uncle rick hiding and hearing him laugh. Always mischievous and full of adventure, to the demon living in the cellar to keep me out. My heart hurts so much at the thought of you moved on to heaven, as talking will be a bit harder now. You are loved so much and missed even more. I am sure you are cracking jokes in heaven about how we are as you would say, "making a fuss". Love you Uncle Rick

I have know Rick my entire life. Beginning as young children playing as neighbors before we ever started school to me blocking for him when he ran the ball in youth league and middle school football. He was the fastest little half back in Fairdale youth league in the day . I remember riding with him to and from DeSales High School every day my freshman and sophomore years ,where do to his speed and agility he turned to soccer before soccer was even cool, and man he was good at that too.
We remained lifelong friends over the many decades and even became neighbors again later in life, for the past 18 years now . As friends do we continued to watch out for each other and was there to help or just talk each other through tough times. Man life goes by so fast and Rick was called away much to soon ,but one thing is certain as my heart aches, "I will sure miss my little buddy" and our talks at the fence giving each other advice, reminising about good times past and how to fix the world.
Khloe , Frank/ Sherry and family,
Debbie and I send you our heart felt love and prayers as you work through this difficult time .
God Bless
