Roxanne Sizemore, 68, of Clarkson, Kentucky, passed away at her home on October 10, 2021. She was born in Louisville on June 24, 1953 to the late Elmer and Gene Herbert. Roxanne was a registered nurse and an avid animal lover.
In addition to her parents, Roxanne is preceded in death by her son, James Travis Sizemore and her sister, Phyllis Herbert.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 49 ½ years, James Alan Sizemore; a son, Matthew Sizemore; a grandson, James Richard Sizemore; and many friends and a house full of animals who she loved dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Roxanne’s life will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). The family will accept guests for a time of visiting prior to the service from 12-3pm at the funeral home.
