Thelma “Jean” Elzy, 89, entered into rest on Wednesday May 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Clyde E. Elzy; Parents, Fred and Ethel Mae (Stiles) Etherton; Son, Cory Elzy; Grandson, Jeremy. Jean was involved with various organizations, Miss Fairdale Pageant, Miss Ky Pageant, Fairdale Community Club, Fairdale Fair, Steering Committee, KSDA, Mid America Square Dance Jamboree and she was Grand Marshall of the Fairdale Fair and retired from Fairdale Elementary School. She was an Avid UK Fan. She is survived by her Sons, Gregory (Angela), Kevin; Daughters, Sonya (Mike), Tonya (Moe); 7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren; Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 19, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Fairdale – McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road with Burial Following in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 -8pm at the funeral home.
