Theodore Kane Longacre, 84, of Fairdale, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015. He was a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, Korean Army Vet, a Mason, Chairman of Trustee Board at Fairdale Fire Dept., KY Colonel & the "one & only" mayor of Fairdale. He also worked as a cycle checker at Ford Motor Co. for 42 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Nan, his parents, Morgan & Florine Longacre and several brothers & sisters.
Survived by his son, Douglas R. Longacre, daughter, Sonya (Louis) Holzknecht, grandchildren, Melissa Trotter (Chad), Bryon Britt & Morgan Britt
great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Talon, Gavin & Ava, brothers, Walter & Morris, sisters, Rowena, Roberta, Ethel & Fay.

Visitation will be Sunday & Monday 2-8PM at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home 411 Fairdale Rd. with a funeral service Tuesday 1PM Mt. Holly United Methodist Church 804 Mt. Holly Road with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
