Agnes Z. Westbrook

Agnes Westbrook of Springfield VA, formerly of Ft. Washington, MD died Monday October 17, 2022. Born September 4, 1922, she was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Westbrook; Mother of Robert C. Westbrook (Marianne), Mary Westbrook Kroetch, Beth A. Hooks and Michael J. Westbrook (Dianne); sister of Katherine Creane and Marie Schirmer; also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Agnes was a lifelong member of the Friends of The National Arboretum and a member of both the Oxon Hill Garden Club and Springfield Acres Garden Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass in celebration of her life at St Veronica Catholic Church, 3460 Centreville Rd., Chantilly, VA 20151 on Saturday October 29 at 2 PM. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery on January 9, 2023 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends Of The National Arboretum. Friends and family are invited to a casual gathering immediately following the Mass, a short distance from the church.
