She is survived by her son Brent Pister, daughter Valerie Fawcett, grandson Keith Fawcett, granddaughter Laynie Landeis, and great-granddaughter Jessica Fawcett. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Pister, father Elrick Jones (name changed to Leonard Thome), and mother Viola Ehr (nee Hartung).
