Anice A. Hendelman of Oakton VA, passed away quietly in her sleep while receiving hospice care at INOVA Fairfax Hospital on May 24, 2018 at 1245am. She is survived by her beloved son Joel A Hendelman of Box Elder, SD., two daughters Jill Hendelman and Jacki Montgomery of Virginia and too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to name.
Anice loved her dog Dixie who was her faithful companion in her declining years. She also had a fondness for gardening and at one time bred and raised Parotts.
She worked as a Paralegal for various law firms within the Fairfax City area for many years in the 1980's and 1990's until retiring due to medical complications.
Anice lived in Europe in the mid 1970's and graduated from the Cordon Bleu Cooking School in Paris France. The family used to say: "She could take a chicken wing and a can of crisco and make it into a 5 course meal!"
Although her ability to travel was greatly reduced in the last couple of years, she retained an incredible sense of humor and always had an optimistic outlook on life. Those who knew her and spent time with her will miss her deeply
