Annabelle M Morrow Milliken

Annabelle Milliken, 93, of Fairfax, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015. She was born in Hollidaysburg, PA to the late Frank and Eva Morrow. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Herbert Wilson Milliken. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted daughter, Cynthia M. Guin, son, Herbert D. Milliken, and youngest daughter, Polly A. Malton , loving grandchildren, Christopher, Lauren, Sara, and Steven. Mrs. Milliken was a past president of the Ladies of the Elks at the Arlington-Fairfax Elks Lodge #2188 and a member of the Fairfax Women’s Club. After moving to Fairfax from Pittsburgh, PA in 1965, Mrs. Milliken worked as a secretary for the Fairfax County School’s grounds department and prior to retirement was the school secretary at Fairfax Villa Elementary in Fairfax. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2015, at Fairfax United Methodist Church, 10300 Stratford Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030 with a reception to follow in the Multipurpose Room. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Virginia Elks Youth Camp, in care of Mrs. Georgianna Knotts, 1100 Trapper Crest Court, Herndon, VA 20170.
