Barbara Ruth Hamilton, 78 of Fairfax, VA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Barbara was born on July 13, 1937 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Fannie Robinson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert “Bob” Hamilton of Fairfax, VA; her daughter Kimberly Smithson (Robert Aaron) and a grandson Robert Andrew Smithson of Catlettsburg, KY. Barbara is also by her brother Theodore Robinson of Winter Park, FL; a nephew, Dan Robinson of Florida; a cousin, Becky Horne of North Carolina and an Aunt Terry Cunningham of Springfield, VA. Services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Providence Presbyterian Church, 9019 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031.
