From Nicole and Emily (Granddaughters):

Our grandmother, Carmela Rapavi, meant the world to us. We are so blessed to have had such a sweet, caring, and loving Grandma. Grandma had a heart of gold; she was one of the kindest and most compassionate human beings on this earth. She was a woman of deep faith. She always prayed for her family and helped guide us in our faith. Some of our favorite memories are our weekend trips to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and the holiday traditions where she would cook her delicious Italian food and special desserts. Grandma always greeted us with open arms, warm hugs, and smiles. We enjoyed spending days with Grandma going on adventures and chatting with her.

One thing my Grandma would say with the biggest smile was “I love having my family together”. Family was so important to her and she was so happy to have everyone together. Grandma loved her husband, and each and everyone of her children and grandchildren dearly. She supported everyone through all their life milestones and celebrated all of their accomplishments.

We love you and miss you so much Grandma. You are our angel in Heaven. Even though you are gone, you are never forgotten. You will always remain in our hearts forever. Rest in Peace, Grandma.
