Charlie, a native of Annandale and veteran of the Korean War, is survived by his children, Kathy Wilson (Jim), Johnny, Jeanette, and Henry Merryman II; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Charlotte Williams; his life partner of 45 years, Connie Glover, and her family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Merryman; his son, Charles Lee Merryman, Jr; 3 sisters; and 7 brothers.
A viewing will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Demaine Funeral Home, Fairfax. A graveside service will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Loudoun County or Fairfax County food banks.
