Donald Lee Whittaker Jr. was born to the late Martha Priscilla Siceloff Whittaker and the late Donald Lee Whittaker Sr. on February 6th of 1954 in Japan. He has two siblings, Sandra N. Wine of Vero Beach, Florida and Priscilla A. Whittaker of Winchester, Virginia.
Donald was married to Cynthia Miller Whittaker and later divorced but did have three children, Andrew Whittaker (deceased), Madeline Grant who married Brian Grant and Catherine Whittaker. Surviving grandchildren are Bruce Grant and Edward Grant. Surviving cousins are Donald, Gregg and Patrice Gleasner.
Donald attended Gettysburg College and received a bachelor’s in history and then attended George Mason and received a master’s in history. In his professional career he was a Quality Assurance Manager.
Donald was an avid reader, he enjoyed history, science fiction and lively debates. He enjoyed reading, teaching himself to play the piano, playing scrabble and playing cards with family and watching older movies.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
