
Mr. E. Alan Guseman died peacefully on January 7, 2015, in Fairfax, VA, at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Sue Guseman, his devoted daughters, Kathleen Benner, Mary Louise Meurer, and Rebecca Williams, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as his brother James Guseman. Alan was born on August 21, 1926 in Grindstone, PA to Robert and Ada Wells Guseman. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He retired from the Central Intelligence Agency after 29 years of service and was recognized as being the last American out of the Berlin Tunnel. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3704 Old Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA 22030, followed by a viewing and reception at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Interment will be on a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
