She worked as a telephone operator following high school while living in New Jersey. Over the years she resided in California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Eva contributed to many organizations over the years including DePaul High School in Wayne, St Mary’s Catholic School in Pompton Lakes, a scout and 4-H leader, Shade Township All School Reunion Committee and St Peter and Paul’s Greek Catholic in Central City. She was also a member of the American Legion, CHEER Senior Center, and Pines Lake Woman‘s Club where she served as president. Eve was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, community volunteer, and friend. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing bingo, working in her garden, traveling to South Carolina to see her baby sister Maggie, and especially being with family & friends.
