Our Dad was called many things: the greatest Dad in the universe, Whitey, Butchy, Frank, Grandpap, Great Grandpap, the good boss, the wolf and the Flying Nun. He was always there to bring snacks to the hospital, give Grandpap kisses, attend the cremation of soulmates, watch T.V. and let you know when the bloody parts were over, go with you to court for a custody hearing, officiate at your wedding or give you away. He also enjoyed noting that your clothes were inappropriate in various ways and snooping to find out what teenage mischief you were up to. He was always there to defend the honor of his women and drive the young ones to and from the preferred school every day. And let us not forget that he was always up for a stress-reducing casino trip or a McDonald’s fish sandwich run. He was the only person I ever knew who could eat a dish and go home and make it just as good, if not better. We will miss him: Cindy, Julie and Suzanne, his daughters, Vincy and Frank, his grandchildren, Tabby, his great granddaughter, Buddy, Philip and Jack, his friends and Edna and Mr. Stubbs, his doggy pals.
