So sorry to hear of Gay Nell’s passing. We were raised in the same community and church. Gay Nell played the piano for my husband and my wedding. Also, served at our reception. Always loved her. She was a genuine person, very compassionate and caring. We know she is in Gods arms now and happy.

After God created Gay Nell, He threw away the mold. She was truly one-of-a-kind and everyone who met her knew that immediately. Her outward beauty was reflected in her inward beauty. We Mary Kay consultants always saw how she lived the Golden Rule in her life and in her outstanding business. We had much fun attending Mary Kay events over our 36 years together.
Yes, her nickname was GG; however
there should be about 12 Gs in that nickname. Great Grandmother , Giving wife and mother, Glitzy, Glamorous, Gracious, Gentle, Grateful for her family, Grand story teller, Great Gift Giver——and the Gs go on.
Heaven is a much more beautiful place now. She will spread joy and laughter everywhere she goes with her wit and warmth on the streets of Gold. She will sing “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art” without tears at last.
I will truly miss her now, but look forward to being with our beautiful buddy again as Jesus has promised those who believe. Love and belief, Nancy

Randy and I were blessed many years ago with Gay Nell, Jim, and Amber's friendship at Fairfax Baptist Church....
and our friendship has continued to grow throughout the years. Gay Nell was like a sister to me, and I will miss not having the opportunity to talk to her! May you find comfort, Jim and Amber, knowing that Randy and I share your tremendous loss! We pray for God's arms to wrap around you during this tough time and provide you with strength and peace.
