Jules,
My heart breaks for the unimaginable loss that you & your children have experienced w/ the death of George. I’m grateful & blessed to have watched yours & George’s love story start from the moment you met him in the Fairfax Hospital ER, that first trip to New Hampshire, the amazing wedding weekend in Oil City, buying your first homes, & of course, bringing those 4 beautiful kids in to this world. Yours was the kind of love & connection that defines what a marriage should be. Even though I don’t see you enough, you will always be my forever friend, & my heart & prayers are w/ you during this time of pain & sorrow. XO

We miss you Sarge. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and your family. I’ll miss your kind soul and calm demeanor. You were truly the example of an amazing supervisor and police officer. I pray that you watch over your family both blood and blue and rest easy knowing that your memory will never fade. I will tell the new officers stories of just how great you were!

The City of Fairfax grieves the loss of our employee, our neighbor, and our friend, George Moskowitz. We are profoundly grateful for God's gift of George's life among us, for his life of service to others, and for his professionalism blended with a genuine grace that he extended to all he worked with and the citizens he served. George Moskowitz was a devoted husband and father and held his family close in his heart each and every day of his life. Our community has been blessed beyond measure because of his devotion and commitment to improving our civic life, for which we will remain ever grateful.
