One day you will look back and realize they were the big things.”
Jennifer Katheryn Ludwick Swett was born on July 5, 1965 and passed away on Monday February 19, 2018. She is survived by her husband Charles Swett, her daughter Kaili Ludwick, her parents Bill and Mary Ludwick and a granddaughter Kalia Hackley. She was born in Seattle, Washington but spent most of her life in Fairfax, VA. As a child she was lucky to travel to many places, even living in Germany when she was in elementary school. One of her favorite places was Hawaii, during her senior year of high school her parents moved to there and the state became very dear to her.
Over the last 10 years she struggled with many severe illnesses, she suffered with complications from cancer but remained in remission of the remainder of her life. Through all of the complications she went through she remained a fighter and determined to come through. Two years ago she suffered a stroke and with speech, physical, and occupational therapy she was able to get around with just the assistance of a cane. She was a strong fighter and finally her body just couldn't handle the stress of a coronary embolism.
The family will be holding a service for her on Saturday February 24th at 11am at Oakton Church of the Brethren.
