Jessica was a wonderful person with a beautiful aura. The first time I met her, she greeted me with a warm smile and I instantly felt so comfortable around her. She gave me advice (I was going through a breakup at the time) that has stuck with me to this day. She talked about her son and her everlasting love for him. I’ve been meaning to visit her for a while, but life got in the way. It hurts that the last time I was at the same place with her was during her funeral. Jessica, you will be missed. You’ll forever be in our hearts, may you rest peacefully.

I worked with Jessica for several years at Twain MS in the front office. She made it fun to come to work every day and we had many, many laughs together. I will hold close the memories of her at our house for my kids' graduation parties, happy hours together, and the funny texts. This is so heartbreaking; the world has lost a wonderful human. Prayers for Adrian - she was so proud of you and loved you with her entire being. RIP, my friend.

This is just devastating. Jessica was one of the most nurturing, selfless persons I have ever known . Always a smile on her face, making us laugh. She made it a joy to come to work at Cameron ES!! This hurts really bad.
She made sure I received a trophy from work for earning my masters degree, and she took amazing care of Tammy and I! What a beautiful person and beautiful soul. What a bright light in this world. From the cute videos her and Tammy made for my husband while he was deployed , to calling him Captain America she was always thinking about others. I will never forgot those days we spent with her in Puerto Rico. Let’s not forget her love of Harry Potter and her British accent. Gosh I am going to miss her.

Jessica was a wonderful ray of sunshine. Upon walking into the office at Cameron Elementary School, she met you with that warm, beautiful smile. That smile made you feel comfortable. Jessica found out I was a retired Cameron teacher beginning to substitute. She told me that some her friends had attended Cameron. Jessica's eyes became brighter and her smile widened when she named Carolina, Yoana, Kenny, and John Berrios. I smiled. I told her I knew them and had taught two of them. My prayers and thoughts are with Adrian and the Chavez family.

Ms. Chavez, as I called her... As a new teacher to Cameron Elementary School, she was a person I saw and greeted every time I entered the main office. She always treated me as if I belonged. Very sweet and helpful woman. God bless her and her family. 🙏🏾

Jessica was the welcoming ‘Face of Twain’ in the front office (many years ago). Her smile was the first thing you saw when you walked in and whether you were a staff member, student or parent, she was always patient and always helpful! She loved to laugh and made the hard jobs look easy. She touched the lives of so many in our community and made everyone she talked to feel like her friend.

A infectious, spirited and beautiful soul gone too soon! The epitome of genuine love and light flowed through her veins. To know her was to love her! That radiant smile and jubilant laugh will forever remain sketched in my heart! A heart of gold, so loving and caring of everyone. Her hugs were tight and filled with such love! She loved hard! Radiant energy that was gravitating and wholesome. Watching her flourish in her career was truly amazing! So intelligent and ambitious! A true go getter!
