Jon Godfrey Purkey

Jon Purkey of Chantilly, VA, passed away peacefully at the age of 51 on September 20, 2018 with family by his side. He was the beloved son of his surviving mother Melba Purkey, his late father Thomas Purkey, and is also survived by his brother Scott and numerous relatives. He was born in Paris, France while his Dad was in the military. He attended Annandale High School graduating in 1985. He liked squirrels, collected Furbies, spent time on his computer, and enjoyed watching church services and classic television shows and series. Jon had a quiet faith in God. Jon will be missed by us all, loved, and remain in our hearts forever. Private burial at Fairfax Memorial Park Cemetery. A remembrance of life for all who wish to join us on Saturday, October 20 at New Life Christian Church, 14550 Lee Road in Chantilly from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
