Joseph Baxter Mace

Joe truly lived life to the fullest, an avid traveler who loved cruising, camping, casinos, and constantly being on the go. To say he was spontaneous was an understatement.

He was fiercely devoted and protective, caring with his whole heart for his family and friends. If anyone was ever in need, he was there no matter what.

Joe's goal in life was to amuse everyone, his stories and humor are legendary. You just could not be in his presence without laughing.

He will be greatly missed by his family, Lisa, his wife whom he married on August 18, 2010, his beloved daughters Deanna and Sierra, and his loving step-sons Ryan and Lucas. He was a doting grandfather to his granddaughter, Charlie, a dear brother to Dawn (Chris), John (Wendy [dec]), Bernard (Dayna), and Anthony (Rachel). He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, as well as his adorable Yorkie, Stinky Tinky (Tinkerbell).

A celebration of life will be held on September 25, 2021 from 11:00AM to 1:30PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA, 22030.
