Katherine Mary Muchler

Katherine Mary Muchler, who her family and friends knew as Cass or Grandma, peacefully passed away on the evening of May 24, 2021. She was 73 years old at the time of her passing. Cass was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey. However, she spent most of her life living in Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of seven years, William Henry Mulcher, Sr. She is warmly remembered by her brother Edward Lehman and sister Louise Goffredi; her three children and their spouses: Bill and Sue Muchler, Denice and Curtis Price, and Dave and Tammy Muchler; her 10 grandchildren: Kayleen, Melanie, Paige, Bethany, Grant, Grace, Hailey, Victoria, William, and Courtney; and by her 2 great-grandchildren: Daniel and Caleb.

Something you quickly learned about Cass is that she loved to quilt and take pictures of those close to her. She enjoyed traveling, but always had a fond place in her heart for the beach. She would often fill her time with gardening, reading, or visits to the park.

Cass’s hope was found in Jesus Christ and although her family grieves, they do not grieve without hope. We look forward to seeing her again in heaven where she is now signing with angels and worshipping Jesus.

A visitation will be held at 11am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Demaine Funeral Home located at 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, Virginia 22030. A memorial service will follow at 12pm concluding with a graveside at 1pm at the City of Fairfax Cemetery. All are welcome.
