Michael Albea Armour

Michael Albea Armour, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away from a heart attack at the age of 54 on July 8, 2020. Michael was born in Arlington, Virginia, on November 27, 1965 to Marion Armour and Carolyn Albea Armour. He graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Psychology and attended the University of Idaho in pursuit of an architectural degree. He made friends he held dear to his heart everywhere he went from the classrooms in Chantilly, the lecture halls in university, the rolling hills of Idaho, the coast of North Carolina, and the offices of Lab Corp and Quest Diagnostics. He loved going for long drives in the country and treasured spending time with his family that loved him dearly. Michael’s life will forever be remembered and cherished by his family: his two daughters, Katherine Armour Gibbs and Anne Armour; his grandchildren, Gavin and Andrew Gibbs; his brother, William Armour; his sister, Melissa Armour Miller; his nephews, James Miller and Andrew Armour; and his niece, Katherine Armour. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on July 15, 2020 at Demaine Funeral Home in Fairfax, Virginia. He will be interred alongside his family at Sardis Baptist Church in Rayle, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Heart Association.
