Mrs. Longo was like a mother to me.  I'll always remember her with grat memories and smile. May Allah be with her in Heaven.

I will miss my dear friend, Miriam. Our court will not be the same without her and Bella.  They often came over to visit us for coffee and conversation or to share dinner.  My sympathy goes out to the entire family.  It was certainly a shock to everyone when she passed on.

Mrs. Longo was hands down my favorite grade school teacher at Holy Spirit.  A wonderful blend of humor, encouragement, and high expectations.  She loved the kids in her classes.  She will be remembered very, very fondly by all of the kids whose lives she touched.

I sit here looking at two pictures we always keep on our family photo table.  One with her brother and one with her brother and mother and in both she is full on laughing.   That is what I will always remember about Miriam.   She was always quick to burst into laughter and to speak kindly.  I will miss her. Dear John Kathy and Debbie and Grandkids.  We lost a very special devoted Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend.  My memories of Aunt Miriam and Uncle Phil are all just amazing.  I remember growing up thinking my Aunt Miriam was Carol Burnett.  I remember visiting going to Washington,  Miriam making Chicken Cordon Bleau and her infectious smile and laughter.
She was my Uncle Phil's best friend, wife and mother of 3 amazing kids.I remember when she came to Saratoga, how she loved going to the races.  She bet a horse named Piano Chimes( and naturally it won.  I will never forget how she treated us all with LOVE and she will never be forgotten.   I know My Uncle Phil is waiting for her. I'm so sorry to hear about Mariam.  I will never forget her beautiful smile when she greeted us on our walks down Flint Tavern.  She was always thrilled to see us. 
  She was a wonderful music teacher to our older children at Holy Spirit School.  Her musical productions at Christmas time were awesome.  She poured her heart into making sure it went off without a hitch.  She was a gift to the children and parents alike.
May God hold you in his loving  arms and fill your hearts with peace and strength as  you work through the loss of your wonderful mother.

John, Kathy, Debbie and family,,, It is with a heavy heart that I write these condolences.  I remember meeting Aunt Miriam when I was 8 or 9 years old! Uncle Phil brought her home to meet us- we were all smitten with her!  My dad used to bring her giant coffee rolls every morning!  She took me to the Flanders in Ocean city to buy an embroidery kit.  We made pink dishtowels! She was always generous to me- from taking me shopping to having my son live with her while he was in college! I have such wonderful memories of her and times spent at the beach and at your home.  I will always remember her sense of humor, her fierce independence and her extreme love for family. Rest in peace Aunt Miriam.  That is what I have known her by my entire life from my grandpa Sam.  Every time I saw her although it was not that much because we live so far apart she was always so thoughtful and nice to me. I send my condolences to every family member who lived by her and anyone she touched in the Virginia/Washington area.  I know my grandpa Sam was very upset when he received the phone call I was visiting him in Jupiter this past weekend. He send his condolences too as well if he hasn't already.  Rest in peace.
