With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Dize, age 87, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 23rd after a brief illness with cancer. Nancy was very active in her community, lived a full and meaningful life, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children: Retired Captain Gary Dize and (wife Kathleen Dize), William Keith Dize, and Lisa Dize-Hoffman (wife of retired Technician Kurt Hoffman). She was a cherished grandmother to Brittany Dize-Mizenko, Erik Hoffman, and Nikolaus Hoffman, and a proud great-grandmother to Liam Mizenko and Christopher Mizenko.
The family will have a private memorial service and burial.
Nancy requested any donations be made in her name to the Firefighters Cancer Support Network.
