With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Dize, age 87, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 23rd after a brief illness with cancer. Nancy was very active in her community, lived a full and meaningful life, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Gary Dize (Kathleen), William Keith Dize, and Lisa Dize-Hoffman (Kurt); and her sister: Shirley Harry. She was a cherished grandmother to Brittany Dize-Mizenko (Ed), Erik Hoffman, and Nikolaus Hoffman, and great-grandmother to Liam Mizenko and Christopher Mizenko.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Clifton Dize, Jr. and sisters Betty, Doris, Mary, and Tyke. All are welcome to attend the visitation and the family will have a private memorial service and burial.
Nancy requested any donations be made in her name to the Firefighters Cancer Support Network.
