Chris and Family - My condolences on the loss of your loved one, and may you find comfort through the memories you must have of Nick. I remember him as a longtime colleague from the time we spent working together many years ago, as well as a dear friend since then. My most lasting impressions of Nick are that he was a man of solid character and integrity, and he was so proud of his Greek heritage. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear Chris, Steve, Greg, Nicole, Maya and children,

I am so blessed to have known you well, Chris, and to have met Nick. Because of long-standing friendship and prayers, I know all of you and know the Lord will walk with
you through this time of grieving. We do not sorrow as those who have no hope, though, because we know we will see Nick again, and we rejoice that he is now completely healed and rejoicing with Ellen and the saints in Light.

My husband Bill and I met Nick in the 1980's. He was Bill's boss and mentor. Nick was passionate about his work, family, and all things Greek. As the department manager, he and Chris entertained the team and their spouses in their home. Chris was a great cook and gracious hostess. Nick was charming, a great story teller, and enjoyed his leadership role. I tried to sit near him where the conversation was always robust.
After he left federal service, he and Bill maintained their friendship and we met them for dinner several times a year. During this time our conversations changed...we were empty nesters and our careers were secure. Increasingly his conversations were about the daily miracles our Lord performed and it was clear that his faith was guiding him. Even in illness, he was focused on our Lord and his faith was contagious.
I loved Nick's smile and the twinkle in his eye. What I loved most was how he loved Chris and his family. We will miss you Nick for a long, long time! Rest in eternal peace for you have earned your place in heaven!

Dearest Chris and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Nick's memory be eternal and shine light on all of your lives until you see him again.
Our memories of you and Nick and the children began back in 1975...neighbors for many many years. Nick is a wonderful example of a son, husband, dad, pappouli, etc., and what a legacy he has passed to his loved ones.
Chris, we have remained dear friends through so many journeys and now my dear friend you have lost the love of your life. You were his were so strong and loving. I hope you can rejoice as you think of him with God and Ellen and other loved ones that were waiting to greet him.
I am here if you need me. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of the family.
