Ruby Lee was born in February 1940 to Frank and Vera (Bower) Farley at the family home in Ravencliff, West Virginia. She was the sixth of seven children.
After graduating from Glen Rodgers High School, she attended West Virginia University for one year before moving to Washington D.C. After several years of being a stay-at-home mom, she went to work for Fairfax County Public Schools where she was a guidance secretary for 14 years.
One of the great joys of her life was to travel. She visited France, Australia, Norway, Austria, Sweden, and many more. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family.
One of her many achievements was the recent celebration of 59 years of marriage to her husband, Steve.
She loved going to Penn State football games, Avalon and love of Hallmark movies
She is survived by her husband Stephen Wareham; son Craig Wareham (Stefani); daughter Beth (Wareham) Kable (Max Kable); brother Frank Farley; sister Vera (Farley) Osborne; grandchildren, Jay Wareham, Drew Wareham, Donovan Kable, and Nicole Kable; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Wareham family would appreciate donations to be made either to the TSC Alliance in memory of Ruby Lee Wareham.
