Baker, Sharon Lea. Age 77, of Oak Hill, VA, passed away suddenly in her home of 43 years, on April 11, 2021. Although she battled lung and bone cancer, Sharon ultimately succumbed to other unknown causes.
Her husband, Eugene Frederick Baker, pre-deceased her in 2016, after 55 years of marriage. She is survived by her loving daughters Kathy L. Wright (Lenny) of Warrenton, VA and Debra Jones of Fairfax, VA and her grandsons, David Wright (Ashley) of Catlett, VA, Garrett and Chad Jones of Fairfax, VA, great-grandson, Leo Wright of Catlett, VA. Her brother, El Pullen (Donna) of Webster, NY, her brother-in-law, Delbert Baker (Dolores) of St. Petersburg, FL, and her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bunch of Largo, FL, and numerous loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sharon retired from her work as a Weichert real estate agent in 2012, after nearly 20 years, and was a member of the Multi-Million Dollars Sales Club. Prior to that, she loved serving others at local restaurants, including those she owned with her husband. Her hobbies included gardening, her grandsons, reading and traveling.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030, on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 11 am for a memorial service honoring her life. Pastor Al Dayhoff will officiate.
