Sue Dingus

Jennifer Sue Dingus, 68, of Fairfax, VA formerly of East Moline passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be 1-4:30pm Sunday at Demaine Funeral Home in Fairfax, VA. with the service immediately following. Family and Friends will also be gathering on Sunday Evening at Greenbrier Community Center off Stringfellow Road. Family will have a final gathering at the funeral home at 8:30am Monday before proceeding to Stonewall Memorial Gardens in Manassas for entombment. Memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse. Sue was born Sept. 17, 1946 in Moline, IL the daughter of James Victor and Claire Weldy Cramblett. She graduated from UTHS in 1964. Sue married John Dingus April 17, 1965 in Moline, IL. She spent as much time as she could sending surprise care packages to family and friends and was an excellent caregiver. She loved paintings by PB Moss and loved collecting anything chicken. Survivors include her husband John; sons John Jr. (Shannon) Dingus of South Riding, VA and James (Cammy) Dingus of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren Ben, Grace, Nathan and Andrew; sister Carolee (Larry) Dunton of Springfield, OH and brother James (Kathy) Cramblett of Silvis, IL and many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her son Jason in 2001, sisters Ayliffe Colbert and Buda Larson and brothers Bill and Darrell Bristol.
