Deolinda “Linda” E. (LaPointe) Stolowilsky, 77, of Fairhaven, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Irwin “Curly” Stolowilsky.
Born in Fairhaven, she was a daughter of the late Aime N. and Deolinda E. (Marks) LaPointe.
Mrs. Stolowilsky was a graduate of Apponequitt Regional High School and attended Kinyon Campbell Business School.
Deolinda and her husband owned and operated Curly’s Bail Bond in Miami, Florida for 35 years prior to her retirement.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed trips to the casinos.
She is survived by her daughter, Julia Monaghan and husband Donald of Mattapoisett; her son, Richard A. Tant and wife Karen of Ocala, FL; three sisters, Sandra Humphreys and husband Jack of Naples, FL, Jeannette Pacheco of FL and Shirley Form of Mattapoisett; five grandchildren, Nathan, Jonathan and Jeffrey Tant, James N. Monaghan and husband Kevin Beltz and Timothy G. Monaghan and girlfriend Christina Landry; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Aime N. LaPointe, Jr.
